He served as Simplification Leader for Europe at GE and as global COO for Cognizant's Healthcare & Life Sciences.

Uday is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from GE and TQM trained from JUSE, Japan. He led the Business Transformation for the Deming Prize at Indus Towers, establishing their TQM framework. Uday has been a Deming Advisory committee advisor, founding President of the Indian Society for Quality (NCR), and a professional member of CQI-UK & ASQ. He has authored and published several works on Quality and TQM adoption and recently published a business excellence case study with IIM-A, India.
